Button mushrooms 250 gms
Onions: 2
Garlic: 6 cloves
Ginger: ½” piece
Curry leaves Few
Green chillies 3
Salt to taste
Oil 3 tbsp
Grind to Powder
Peppercorns 1 tsp
Coriander seeds ½ tsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Green spring onion 3 spring (chopped)
Method :
1. Grind the peppercorns, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon and cloves to a fine powder. Keep aside.
2. Slice the onions, Chop ginger and garlic finely. Slit the green chillies.
3. Wash, clean and cut the mushrooms into 4.
4. Heat oil in a wok and add the red chilles, curry leaves, saute for minute, add onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry until light brown.
5. Add the masala powder mushrooms and salt saute for 4 to 5 minutes or till water dry,
sprinkle pepper powder and garnish with green spring onion
7. Serve hot
- Don’t add water because the salt releases the water in the mushroom so cover and cook well.
